Steinhatchee Fishing Captain Mark and Bobbi Brady provide licensed and insured Steinhatchee fishing charters in the big bend area of Florida. These guides fish for trout, snook, redfish, mackerel, scallops and more. We are family owned fishing charter company located in the Big Bend of Florida. Captains Mark and Bobbi Brady are a husband and wife fishing guides team.  Mark started the company over 18 years ago and since then Bobbi has joined him and together they run a well respected charter and guide service. Being able to share this passion is wonderful! Along with Mark and Bobbi we also have 3 other Captains that work for and with us when we have multiple charters. Their all certified Captains and friends of ours. They each run a 22 to 25 foot flats boat. Steinhatchee is a Gulf coastal community in the southern part of Taylor County, Florida. Steinhatchee is located at 29°40′16″N 83°23′15″W, 33 miles. Steinhatchee is 38.00 miles south of the county seat of Perry. The fishing here is outstanding.  We catch lots of redfish, trout, snook and mackerel inshore. The Steinhatchee River is a very short river in the Big Bend region of Florida that provides fresh water to the bay. This makes a great estuary for fish.  Just across the Steinhatchee River is Jena, which is in Dixie County. This river rises in the Mallory Swamp just a little south of Mayo in Lafayette County and flows about 34 and a half miles out of Lafayette County, this forms the boundary between Dixie County and Taylor County to the Gulf of Mexico.
